Dottie’s Adoption Story
A year ago, a sweet little pup named Tika wagged her way into her forever home — and into a new name: Dottie. Her adopter recalls the moment with so much gratitude:
“We adopted Dottie (previously Tika) one year ago yesterday, and we couldn’t be more lucky. She is the best addition to our family!”
From the very beginning, Dottie’s cheerful spirit and gentle heart made her stand out. Described in her original bio as “the world’s sweetest puppy” with a love for sweaters and adventure, she quickly proved that was no exaggeration. Whether she’s exploring the yard, joining her family on walks, or tagging along for car rides, Dottie’s tail is always wagging.
Today, Dottie is thriving in her loving home — surrounded by her fur brother and sisters, soaking up every cuddle, and keeping her family entertained with her playful personality. Her adopter shares that she “loves people, to play, cuddle, go for walks, ‘cook’ with me by eating the veggie scraps that fall, and learn new tricks.”
It’s safe to say this once-tiny traveler has found her perfect destination.
Despite living 2.5 hours out of town, her adopter says the adoption process with The Rescue Crew was smooth and easy, making it possible for Dottie to find her way home without a hitch.
