Dolly’s Rescue Story

When our rescue partner reached out for help with a young dog in desperate need, we couldn’t say no. Beneath her tangled fur and timid eyes was a gentle spirit who had endured far too much. Her name is Dolly — and she had been found with an embedded collar, leaving a deep, painful wound around her neck. On top of that, she was severely underweight and in need of immediate care.

But in true Rescue Crew fashion, compassion showed up fast. Within hours, one of our incredible fosters opened their heart and home to this brave girl — giving her a safe place to rest, heal, and finally know love.

Thanks to prompt veterinary treatment, Dolly’s wound is now healing beautifully, and she’s slowly gaining weight and confidence. Every day she learns that gentle hands can bring comfort, not pain — and that she’s surrounded by people who will never let her down again.
