Fostering
Saves
Lives.
Give a dog or cat
the chance to begin again.
Open heart. Open your home. Save a Life.
Fostering is one of the most powerful ways to make a difference. Every rescued dog or cat needs a temporary safe place to rest, heal, and prepare for adoption — and that begins with you.
When you foster, you’re giving an animal more than shelter. You’re giving them hope.

Foster Orientation
UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Before applying to foster, please complete our brief Foster Orientation Video & Training. Once completed, you’ll automatically be directed to our Foster Questionnaire.
This step ensures that every new foster caregiver understands our mission, expectations, and values before officially joining the Crew.
The short video (~5 minutes) will walk you through:
Who we are and how our foster program works
What support and supplies are provided to every foster caregiver
What’s expected of you, including time, transport, and communication
How to determine if fostering is the right fit for you
Complete the
Foster Questionnaire
After you’ve completed the orientation video, you’ll gain access to our Foster Questionnaire.
This form helps us learn more about your home environment, preferences, and experience so we can make the best possible foster matches.
You’ll answer a few quick questions about your availability, comfort level with different types of pets, and any resident animals in your home. It only takes a few minutes to complete.
Next Step:
Foster Intro Call
After your questionnaire has been reviewed and processed by Foster Team Members, you’ll receive a follow-up email welcoming you to The Crew and inviting you to schedule a 10–15 minute call, at your convenience, with one of our team members to answer any questions and set you up for success to start saving lives.
This call helps us:
Answer your questions about the foster process
Ensure fostering is the right fit for your lifestyle
Discuss what kinds of pets you’d like to help
Explain the next steps in placement and onboarding
You don’t need to schedule this call right now — we’ll reach out to you once we’ve reviewed your questionnaire.
This extra step helps us get to know our fosters better — and ensures every placement sets both you and the animal up for success.
