Thank you for your interest in adopting a pet. Your desire to provide a loving forever home to a rescued animal helps us in our shared goal to “Save a Life Today” of a companion animal in need.
Adopt a Pet – Save A Life!
When you are thinking about adopting a new furry family member, we strongly encourage you to consider a rescue pet. Each year more than 6 million unwanted, abandoned or lost animals enter shelters across the U.S. While some are reclaimed by their owners, and others are lucky enough to be adopted into loving homes, there are still estimated to be upwards of 1.5 million dogs and cats euthanized in shelters across the country every year. Simply because there is no place for them to go. The Rescue Crew was established specifically to help save these companion animals in need.
When adopting a pet, you have the option of picking one from an animal shelter or rescue organization. Both are good options. However, an animal rescue – like The Rescue Crew, is completely volunteer-run and as a charitable organization we are funded through donations. Our animals are in foster homes and we do everything we can to learn as much about their likes and dislikes, temperament and activity level as we can while in foster care. By doing so, it enables us to work more closely with potential adopters to do our best to help ensure a “good fit.” The adoption process might take a bit longer than adopting from a shelter or humane organization, but our goal is finding a match that benefits both the animal and the family interested in adopting.
